Missy is a striking mare who was shown for us by Chuck Simmelink of Barlnk Macho Man fame.  With a shortened show season as a yearling and then competing as a two year old, Missy earned her SUPERIOR OPEN HALTER award with 73 lifetime  halter points including 12 Grand Championships and 6 Reserve Grand Championships.  She is now retired to our broodmare band and will be bred to only the best QH stallions. With her double registered status, she will either produce a "regular" registry paint or a foal eligible for AQHA registry.  This makes for a "win/win" situation.  What a great mare.

Starlet is the daughter of one of our best producing and favorite broodmares, "Vickie".  We are thrilled to finally have a female from "Vickie's" gene pool.  We have high hopes for Star's career as a broodmare. Her dam produced a World Champion half sister to Star, and that sister in turn has produced a World Champion.  We think so much of this broodmare line, that we went right to the top and selected the amazing World Champion, Kids Classic Style for Star's introduction to motherhood.

"Tess" was the first paint horse ever born at the ranch! She was originally bred to follow in her mother's footsteps as one of our ranch riding/working cow horses. We thought it might be fun to ride a horse with spots....thus began our involvement with paint horses!  Her dam is Impressive bred and is my best  "cow-chasing" ranch horse.  Her sire is a World Champion halter horse and Tess has inherited many of his fine qualities, including alot of leg.  She stands an honest 16 hands tall. Tess is nicely muscled while exhibiting refinement, but still carrys sufficient bone and foot to be structurally sound.  We think she will produce halter quality horses that are also capable of being used as a horse was intended...for riding or working.

"Katie" comes to us from the Simmelink Ranch in Oregon, home of Barlink Macho Man. Katie is the dam of Barlnk Macho Man Two, current herd sire at the Simmelink Ranch. We were lucky enough to acquire Katie when Chuck and Kay decided to reduce their herd size by selling their QH mares. Katie is the dam of one AQHA Champion/Superior Halter horse and three APHA Superior Halter horses.  She has produced foals that have earned in excess of $45,000 in futurities. During her own show career, Katie earned 11 AQHA halter points. Please take a moment to look at some of the babies she has produced over the years.

Fly By Night Ranch acquired Lady Bug in 2002. She has proven herself to be a top producer for us, just as she was for the Triple B Ranch.

"Skeeter" was shown only as an aged mare, earning 35 OPEN halter points, an ROM in OPEN halter, and multiple Grand and Reserve Grand Championships. She accomplished all of this between April 27 and October 19, 2002 and while in foal. She then retired to our broodmare band and has definitely lived up to our hopes and expectations as a mother!

"Jessie" was also acquired from the Simmelink Ranch during their QH dispersal. She was a top producer for them, and you will see several of her sons advertised as studs in the Paint Horse Journal. Jessie is a big stout mare with a lot of mass, but she is still feminine with a very pretty neck. She has been an excellent paint producer, throwing color on each of her foals. During her show career, Jessie earned approximately 34 AQHA halter points.  Please take a moment to look over her past accomplishments.
